Breakdown of ODA by ministry in 2023

The remain­ing 17.79% came from con­tri­bu­tions made by the Min­istry of Finance (9.51%), the Min­istry of Health and Social Secu­ri­ty (0.04%), the Min­istry for Dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion (0.04%), the Min­istry of Cul­ture (0.03%) and Luxembourg’s con­tri­bu­tion to the EU’s gen­er­al bud­get — not includ­ing the Euro­pean Devel­op­ment Fund (EDF) — allo­cat­ed by the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion for the pur­pos­es of devel­op­ment coop­er­a­tion in 2023 (EUR43.82 mil­lion, i.e. 8.17% of Luxembourg’s ODA).

We should note in this respect that Luxembourg’s assis­tance via all the EU’s bod­ies, includ­ing Luxembourg’s con­tri­bu­tion to the EDF, amount­ed to EUR49.05 million.
